Chocolate Truffle Workshop
The Chocolate Truffle Workshop takes between an hour and an hour and a half and is a mixture of ‘demo and doing.’ I will show you how to make a chocolate ganache, including demonstrating how this process may go wrong and, more importantly, how to rescue it to produce a fabulous, glossy filling for your chocolates.
Temper chocolate and while doing so, will explain why the process is important.
Using the ganache and tempered chocolate, you will create your own chocolate truffles under my guidance. During this workshop, I will also demonstrate how to make chocolates using another, different process and of course these will be added to the goodies for you to take away with you – or simply to eat there and then!
*Please note – we require a minimum number of 2 people in each workshop – so please invite your friends to join you! If it has not been possible to get the right numbers, I will get in touch with those who have booked and offer to transfer your booking to another date or to refund your payment. This chocolate workshop is for adults. I am sorry but I am not able to hold workshops for anyone under the age of 18. Thank you.
During the workshop I use milk chocolate and cream – the ingredients and allergens you need to be aware of are as follows: Ingredients: milk chocolate (40%) chocolate (sugar cocoa butter cocoa mass emulsifier (soya lecithin) natural vanilla flavour milk powder) cream.
