Strawberry & Pepper heart

You know how subtle the flavour of strawberries can be and how beautifully they go with chocolate? Well here is the answer for you. My rich, dark milk chocolate (40%) is combined with strawberry puree (the fruit is grown in my garden) and with a twist of black pepper which simply enhances the flavour of the strawberries. These truffles are usually wrapped in a heart-shaped shell decorated with splashes of red cocoa butter and speckles of black (to represent the pepper…..).
